The Primatologist
Primates are threatened, and in some cases face extinction, from habitat destruction and hunting.
They are critical for the health of tropical forests, acting as seed dispersers and both prey and predators for many other animals.
There are over 30 known primate species in Peru.
This project documents the work of Dr. Tremaine Gregory, a Primatologist, studying the impacts of a natural gas pipeline on primates in the Peruvian Amazon.
