The front page of the "La Industria" shows the areal images of the beautiful triple spiral geoglyph that I filmed in March and which was subsequently destroyed in April (see "Archaeological sites destroyed").
The relentless media campaign by Jose Carlos Orrillo Puga to conserve these historical sites, with over a dozen newspapers articles in the last fortnight, is however paying off.
The Ministry of Culture and the regional government have promised to remove illegal settlers and better protect the archaelogical reserve of Santo Domingo.
